28 Week Bumpdate!

We are in the third trimester!! Those first two flew by, but I have a feeling these last 3 months are going to go so slowly. Luckily, I haven’t done much in the way of preparation so there is a lot to keep me busy until baby comes! August really can’t get here soon enough! I changed up the questions a little bit this week, hope you enjoy reading!

How Far Along: 28 Weeks!

Size Of Baby: Coconut

Gender: Girl!We haven’t purchased anything new yet, but I’ve been going through all of Reagan’s baby clothes and it’s been fun seeing those teeny tiny outfits again!

Name: We picked one, but we’re keeping it a secret until baby gets here! Not even our parents know and it’s driving them crazy. But since everyone knows the gender, it’s fun keeping this part just to ourselves for now.

Symptoms: Itchy rash, Braxton hicks contractions, having to pee every 10 minutes, and just a general huge feeling lol

Cravings: Chips Ahoy crunchy cookies. I can legit eat an entire package in two days and that’s when I’m practicing self control.

Movement: All the time! Her most active time is between 10-10:30pm which just happens to be when I go to sleep. But it’s super fun and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

Miss Anything: Being able to bend down and running. I love running but I’ve had to stick to just walking for exercise this pregnancy. It’s hard going on our walk at the park every morning and watching everyone jog past me because I miss doing that! But I’m glad I’m healthy enough to walk, and I started a weight/squat routine at night that has helped me feel less sluggish.

Nursery Progress: Since we’re in a two bedroom apartment, baby girl will be staying in our room for the first 3-6 months and then we’ll hopefully start transitioning the girls to sharing a room. The nesting urge has hit me hard though so I’m currently taking everything out of Reagan’s closets and reorganizing/getting rid of stuff. When we moved to Texas, we left a few boxes packed and just shoved them in her walk in closet. Now that we’re going to need that space, I’m working on going through everything and getting rid of what we don’t need! Needless to say, that has been a huge task!

Looking Forward to:  My appointment next week! It’s the glucose tolerance test one where they test for gestational diabetes, and I’m a little bit anxious since I’m measuring big, so I want to hurry up and get that over with. I’m also (not so) secretly hoping that they move my due date up.
