36 Week Bumpdate!

BIG NEWS! We scheduled an induction for 39 weeks, so I actually only have a maximum 3 weeks left! I’m still hoping that she comes on her own before then, but if not that is okay too!
How far along: 36 Weeks!

Favorite Moments: Watching Reagan give hugs and kisses to my belly and say “hi baby, bye baby” was definitely the highlight this week! She is so loving and sweet I just know she’ll be a great big sister.

Feeling: Ready. We’ve had the baby shower, the car seat in installed, the bags are mostly packed, and as of next week I’ll be full term! You better believe I’ll be walking and eating all the spicy foods to encourage this girl to vacate!

Eating: Tacos all day everyday.

Gender: GIRL GIRL GIRL. My husband asked me if there was any way that this was wrong, but at my ultrasound this week we got VERY clear pics of girl parts!

Weight Gain: 35 pounds! This is how much I gained with Reagan, but this baby is much much bigger. Her head is already measuring in the 92 percentile and at 40 weeks, her belly and shoulders are both 71 percentile. So we have quite the chunker coming our way!

Cravings: Changes based on the day, but lots of Mexican food and cookies.

Missing Anything: Exercising. I stopped a couple weeks ago because my back pain was so bad and I really miss it. Since I’m almost full term, I plan on picking up walking again to try to get labor going.

Aches and Pains: LOTS of Braxton Hicks contractions! They aren’t painful, but they are pretty annoying and inconvenient. I’m glad I didn’t really have these during my first pregnancy because I probably would have been worried I was going into labor all the time haha. Now I know the difference and know that my body is just getting ready. At my appointment this week I was dilated to a whopping 1 cm, but at least they’re doing something!

Clothes: I have three pairs of shorts that I rotate through and about 5 shirts. Anything else just isn’t going to happen.

Exercise: Going to start walking again soon, and I think I’m going to try bouncing on the yoga ball!

Looking Forward to: Being full term next week! I’m ready to get the ball rolling!

Congrats, so exciting to know a here-by date!! As Braxton-Hicks are terribly annoying, I had them awful with both of my pregnancies- hope they let up a little for you!
