We’re starting to plan our gender reveal (we find out in three weeks!) and I finally decided what we’re going to do! We’re working with an AWESOME photographer from Austin so she’s going to document the whole thing! It’s been a really long time since we’ve had our pictures taken by a professional and I am so excited to work with Stacey, if you’re local, you definitely need to check out her work! (FB here and Instagram handle: @cloverbudphotographyaustintx) Her photos are so ethereal and she captures her subjects in a way that just makes you feel what they’re feeling! I’ve been especially crushing on her maternity pictures (duh) and might have to make the trip to Austin to have her take some of me when I’m a little further along.
I just ordered a blue and pink confetti cannon set from Etsy (this shop is amazing, no joke they shipped 12 hours after I placed the order…on a Saturday!) and we’re going to set off the right color and get the whole thing photographed and on video! I think the photos with the confetti falling will look so cool, I seriously can’t wait. I’m going to have the ultrasound tech write the gender down on a piece of paper, and then have my friend tell us which cannon to shoot (with the confetti color hidden) so it’ll be a surprise for us as well! I’m looking forward to being surprised and having those emotions caught on camera (hopefully happy emotions lol) and being able to visually cherish the moment we found out whether we’re adding a little boy or girl to our family.
