33 Week Bumpdate!

I was thinking to myself today that it has been a while since I did a bumpdate, I had no idea it had been four weeks since my last one! Yikes! Since all my posts are planned out for the next two weeks, I’m doubling up today and doing a bumpdate post too because I don’t have that many weeks left!

How far along: 33 Weeks! Can’t believe there’s only 7 left. I talked to my doctor about possibly inducing and she said I was a good candidate, so we may have even less time! I should probably buy a car seat.

Favorite Moments: When baby girl gets super active after I eat something specific or when I go for a walk. It’s really fun (albeit, uncomfortable) to watch my belly move and try to guess what body part is sticking out and moving around in there.

Feeling: Happy! For so long in this pregnancy I’ve been stressed about all the positive tests I was getting, and irritated that it was harder than my first pregnancy. Now that we’re in the home stretch and realizing that this will be over very soon, I’m trying to be better about enjoying the journey. I’m still uncomfortable and cranky, but I’m also way more excited!

Eating: I definitely have to stick to smaller meals now, there isn’t a lot of room in there for food! Reagan really struggled when she was a newborn with gas and colic, and cutting dairy from my diet was the only thing that helped. So I’ve cut dairy out of my diet again in preparation in case this baby suffers from the same tummy troubles.

Gender: GIRL GIRL GIRL

Weight Gain: About 27 pounds I want to say. I gained 20 pounds in two months and have slowly tapered off since then.

Cravings: Nothing really. Though I’ve noticed I only want to eat chicken lately, whereas earlier on I could only stomach red meat.

Missing Anything: Being able to roll over, sleeping through the night without having to pee, sleeping on my back/stomach, getting up off the couch normally, not grunting or sighing all the time, walking up stairs without nearly having a heart attack…

Aches and Pains: Pretty bad back pain, but I’m working with a physical therapist here in San Antonio to help remedy that. I highly recommend trying PT if you’re suffering from back pain, insurance almost always covers it and it feels amazing getting stretched out and worked on.

Clothes: About 90% maternity and some non maternity dresses. You know things are getting real when some of your maternity clothes stop fitting.

Exercise: I walk 1-2 miles at the park with Reagan a few times a week, but that is starting to get really difficult and tiring so I might have to tone it down even more.

Looking Forward to: Seeing baby girl! I have an ultrasound scheduled in 3 weeks and am so excited to see her again!
