One week to go before I’m induced! I’ve been trying everything to get this baby out, read more about what’s going on below!
How far along? 38 weeks!
Total weight gain: 35 pounds
Maternity clothes? I’ve actually outgrown most of my maternity clothes, so now I’m living in maxi dresses, running shorts, and t-shirts.
Stretch marks? Oh yes. They’re not too bad though and I’m perfectly fine with them being there!
Sleep: I get up once or twice a night to pee, but I’ve been pretty comfortable! The body pillow has been an absolute life saver!
Best moment this week: Jared and I were getting ready for bed the other night and as we were laying there just talking about our futures, he kept mentioning how fun it was going to be to have a baby again. Jared is usually pretty quiet and to himself about these things, so it just warmed my heart to see him getting excited and looking forward to having our baby join us in a few short weeks. He’s going to be such a good girl dad!
Miss Anything? Ice cream! It’s way too hot here right now to not be eating ice cream. Reagan was super sensitive to dairy in my breastmilk when she was a baby so just in case this baby has the same issue, I’ve officially cut dairy from my diet.
Movement: Constantly! It’s getting so cramped in there that you can really see when baby girl moves. And sometimes it’s a little creepy because my stomach conforms to shapes that you wouldn’t think are possible haha.
Food cravings: Chocolate. And Chips Ahoy cookies.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really!
Gender: GIRL!
Labor Signs: Lots of pretty intense Braxton Hicks and I’ve been losing my mucus plug. I had my membranes swept again this morning so hopefully that gets things moving along!
Symptoms: Swollen hands and feet and general aches. But considering I’m 38 weeks pregnant I feel pretty darn good!
Belly Button in or out? So out. Like way farther out than I thought was possible.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. Sorry babe but my size 5.5 finger is now a size 7 so that ain’t happening.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but definitely short on patience.
Looking forward to: Labor!!! We have an induction scheduled, but I really want to go into labor on my own first. It’s so exciting to be surprised and start feeling everything and I’m really hoping that happens for me again!
