This is my favorite time of year to decorate our house, I especially love to decorate our front porch for fall! We love the little house we live in, but with this little house is a very little porch that doesn’t leave a lot of space for fun decor. I took to Pinterest to find some inspo for decorating a small porch and found SO many good things! These photos are where I drew inspiration for our Fall/Halloween porch decor this year, I wanted to share them for those of you with small porches or looking for minimal porch fall decor this season!
How to Achieve This Look!
Achieving this seasonal look for your front porch is a lot simpler than it looks! A few budget friendly, staple items can make a big difference and add a lot to a small space.
- Buffalo check rug – the one I have is on Amazon, you can find it HERE!
- Witty doormat – there are SO many cute fall and Halloween themed doormats on Etsy! I’m crushing on this one!
- Height – I found a cute little bench at Goodwill to place some pumpkins on, but you could also use these affordable wooden crates or an extra wicker chair for some styling options!
- Coziness – add a fun pillow or plaid throw blanket to make things feel inviting and cozy!
- Bats! – I love the look of little bats flying up the front door! I DIY’d ours from some black poster board but you can find some cute felt ones on Amazon HERE!
- Mums and Pumpkins – you can’t have a fall front porch without some florals and pumpkins! We always pick up a couple real pumpkins from the patch when we take the kids, but for everything else I go the fake route. Walmart has really affordable fake pumpkins right now in lots of colors and styles, and their real mums are all under $10!
