Entryway Makeover

One day I would love to have an actual mudroom in our house, but today we are renting a 1200 square foot home with a very small entryway and this quickly turned into a cluttered and messy space! After lots of brainstorming and a couple of DIY’s we now officially have a functional and stylish entryway. This entryway makeover came together in stages and I am so happy with the end result!

NOTE: our entryway never looks like this! It was designed as a functional space and always has a bunch of bags and coats on those hooks.

The hook rack is a DIY with leftover wood from another project, find the hooks from Home Depot HERE. The shiplap wallpaper was leftover from our kitchen renovation project (post found HERE) and the floating wood Stay Awhile sign is from one of my favorite small shops, Finding Foley!

The large bench cabinet is actually a litter box, but we don’t have a cat and it happened to be the perfect dimensions for our tiny entry!! I like that the kids can sit on it to put their shoes on, and the doors keep their mountains of shoes hidden from view and away from guests walking through our front door. Find it HERE, use code IG_caseyanderson5 to save 5% off your order.

I think this goes down as the easiest and quickest entryway makeover EVER, and I am so happy with the reduced clutter and increased style!
