Last week my mom friend and fellow blogger over at Lydia Louise Blog helped me throw the most beautiful tea party for our little girls, and it was too good not to share!
This whole tea party was inspired by these beautiful dresses from Mini Boho Boutique! This shop carries the most adorable and high quality vintage style dresses for little girls, and I could not resist these floral pinafores. The little ruffles and full skirts make for great twirling (a must for my girls!) and the perfect outfit for any summer parties they may be attending 😉
Here are our tips for creating the perfect tea party for your toddler girls!
Casey’s Tips:
Shop your home // Look around your house for things you already own that have a bohemian vibe. Macrame, neutral colors, floral, lace, sparkles, ruffles, etc.!
Layers // To really create that boho feel, layer different textures and materials. Stack cake stands on top of each other, layer rugs and tablecloths, and string multiple strands of lights that cross each other!
Comfy Seating // Add lots of soft and comfy places for seating! Floor pillows and mats, cushioned chairs, and soft rugs give restless toddlers multiple options for sitting and enjoying their party.
Easy Food // We went with muffins, small cookies, berries, and juice in the tea pot! Easy to eat and fan favorites among the girls.
Lydia’s Tips
My most important tip…do what’s fun! We took lots of dance breaks, ate wayyyyyy too many chocolate chip muffins, and the girls had a BLAST! We are already planning some more fun themed parties and days for these cute girls, and I can’t wait to share more with you!
