Lily Jade Anna Backpack Review!

You guys know my LOVE for diaper bags (and diaper bag backpacks especially) so it should be no surprise that when the opportunity came to review Lily Jade’s new Anna backpack I JUMPED on it! Since I am an over-thinker and over-researcher when it comes to diaper bags, I am going to walk you through all the things with this new diaper bag that has quickly stolen my heart!

I’m going to start off strong with my absolute favorite thing about the Anna. When I first saw pulled this diaper bag out of the box I noticed that the shape and design was much different from other convertible diaper bags that I have reviewed. The strap placement and zippered openings were in different places, and my first thought was that this bag wouldn’t be comfortable to wear or access because it was so different from the other bags I have tried. After two weeks of using this bag exclusively, I know why the design is so different…IT’S BETTER!

All of these other diaper bag brands who make a bag that converts to shoulder or backpack carry felt awkward to access in both carries. This bag solved that problem. I can easily access all of the pockets and openings no matter how I’m carrying the bag! This is such a game changer for moms who constantly have their hands full (aka every mom) and need to be able to reach their keys/wallet/phone while holding a baby and chasing a toddler. I can only imagine the testing process that went into creating this ergonomic design, and I am so glad someone branched out from the norm and made a better design!

Next I want to talk about quality. There is a reason that Lily Jade bags are an investment, they are incredibly high quality and made from the finest materials and you can tell. Lily Jade designs bags to last a lifetime, and they specifically include components for life with a baby and life after a baby. The interior of the Anna has so many functional and designated pockets, I was amazed at how much storage the bag actually has!

Each bag is made from premium grade leather from New York, and has it’s own unique design. Since Lily Jade gives full grain tumbled leather, no two bags will look alike! Most other leather bags are sanded and stamped to give the appearance of tumbled leather, but Lily Jade bags are not!

When you look at the attention to detail put in this bag, you quickly notice every little thought that went into its creation! All the leather is tucked on bag handles, straps, and pockets so you never have to worry about edge paint peeling or cracking. Even the leather on the jade tassel is double sided and made to last. Stitching is reinforced at corners and high use areas making sure the bag will hold up through the long baby years and beyond. The interior lining is thick and durable, and won’t rip or tear with use.
