What’s On My E.R.?

I was originally going to have this blog post be “What’s on my Amazon Subscribe and Save,” but when I was looking through our Amazon orders I realized that I took most things off our subscribe and save and started ordering them on my Essential Rewards order from Young Living instead! I love being nosy and finding out what other people are using and loving, and I’ve gotten a few questions very recently wondering how to use oils and which ones to get, so I thought this would be a fun way to answer those questions and give you a peek into what oils we use regularly in our home!

If you are unfamiliar with what an ER order is, I will explain that really quickly! Like mentioned above, it’s basically the oily version of subscribe and save. Each month I can add to or change my order so I’m getting the products and oils I need, and I keep ones we use a lot on the order month after month. I can change or alter the order at any time, and it processes and ships on the same day each month.

Each month, I earn a percentage back of the total amount I spent in points, and I almost always receive free product for spending a certain amount. The points that I earn can be used on future purchases, and I’ve been able to get some higher priced oils for free by redeeming points!

I went on ER for the first time over the summer, hopped off in the fall when our finances were very tight, and jumped back on a couple months later when everything went back to normal. There is no penalty for stopping and starting, and I liked being able to pick right back up with our monthly orders when we were ready!

I hope that all makes sense! Now that you know what ER is, I will share our last three ER orders with you!

August 2018
– White Angelica essential oil – great for hormonal support and regulation, I diffuse this a lot at night when I’m anxious or having trouble falling asleep

– Lavender essential oil – We go through this one like crazy! I diffuse it in three bedrooms every night, and use it in lots of roller bottle blends. Also great for allergies!

– MightyPro – This is a kid’s probiotic supplement! My kids weren’t huge fans so I haven’t ordered it again, but I tried it and it tastes amazing. My kids are just weird.

– Sensation Massage Oil – Have a husband who’s not 100% on board or sold with essential oils? GET HIM THIS.

– Spearmint essential oil – I got this for FREE! It smells very wintery fresh and I diffused it around the holidays quite a bit

I took a break for September and October, then hopped back on in November!

November 2018
– Bergamot essential oil – this smells citrusy and delicious and I LOVE IT.

– Cedarwood essential oil – this goes into the diffusers at night in my kid’s rooms, and is a crucial ingredient in the mermaid hair spray!

– Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil – this does wonders for opening airways and easing labored breathing. I included this in a Breathe roller bottle blend and diffuse it when anyone has congestion.

– KidScents Bath Gel – this soap smells like Gentle Baby essential oil and definitely calms my kids down before bedtime!

– KidScents Shampoo – same concept as above, but it smells even better!

– KidScents Toothpaste – my kids are weird with toothpaste and will only use it if it tastes like apple or pear, but they LOVE this one and I love that it is full of natural and safe ingredients.

– Pine essential oil – my husband loves pine scented things and was sooooo mad when I threw away all the candles. But the oil smells even better than the candles and doesn’t cause lung cancer so this was the obvious solution!

– RC essential oil – another oil that does wonders on opening airways and relieving congestion! This also went into my Breathe roller bottle.

-Tangerine essential oil – Tangerine is a scent I use in my Aromadough and it smells heavenly! Love the concentrated citrusy goodness.

– Wintergreen essential oil – I was really on a holiday scents kick this month.

– Thieves toothpaste – I got this for my husband and I to use and we love it! First time trying it and we are hooked.

– Thieves Spray – I keep one of these in my diaper bag, one in the car, and one in my purse. It’s so easy to spray and sanitize shopping carts, playground equipment, and little hands, without using harmful and nasty hand sanitizers.

– Nutmeg Vitality – got this for FREE! I’ve used it in lieu of the spice a few times when baking and it was a great substitute!

– Northern Lights Black Spruce – also FREE! It smells great paired with tangerine or any other citrusy oil.

– Christmas Spirit – FREE! Definitely my most diffused oil the last couple of months. I also put a few drops in our vacuum filter so the house smells sooooo good when I vacuum!

December 2018
-Lavender essential oil – again, we use this one like crazy! But even with all the use I didn’t have to buy another bottle until now!

– Cedarwood – I made a few bottles of mermaid hair and needed to restock on this.

– Thieves – because everyone is sick this time of year so I diffuse this a LOT. Also I made a bunch of hand soap with Thieves oil and didn’t want to run out!

– Stress Away – another fan favorite I never want to run out of, this is one of my favorite oils and I am constantly inhaling it to keep my cool!

-Lemongrass Vitality – FREE! No clue what I’m going to do with this yet, but I know it’s a great bug repeller for when summer comes back around!
