The First Swimsuit I’ve Purchased in 4 Years!

While I am super excited for all the pool days and barbecues, summers here are crazy hot and we’ve been over 100 degrees plus humidity all week! Between all the packing boxes and getting ready for our big move you better believe we will be at the pool and splash pad as much as possible to stay cool. Have I mentioned the neighborhood pool is 2 blocks away from our new house? And Henderson, NV has 16 splash pads?! So so so excited for that! 

Anyways, I desperately needed a new swim suit this year for all our water adventures. I’ve had my old one since before Jared and I got married and it’s getting super worn out and losing it’s elasticity. I’ve been on the hunt for a new one for the last couple of years, but having a really long torso and being picky about styles was not doing me any favors.

I decided to check Jane.com last month to see if they had any good deals on swimwear and I found this suit! I thought it looked super cute online, but I’m always concerned about how it will look actually on my body. Since the price was really reasonable ($35!) I went ahead and ordered it…and I absolutely love it! 

The high waisted bottoms are actually high waisted, so they don’t come awkwardly to the middle of my belly button (which is super cute after having two kids btw) and the top is supportive and stays up while chasing and swimming after toddlers. Win Win. Like I said, the price was very reasonable especially compared to other designer suits that are a similar style!

Since I was so happy with my purchase, I decided to check Jane.com again for some summer outfits for the girls. I found Reagan this stinking adorable suit that she gets tons of compliments on every time she wears it, and this ice cream cone outfit for Elliott that I cannot get enough of! Both of their outfits were under $15, and will definitely be worn all summer!
