BiBA M Double Stroller Review

Happy Friday everyone! I can’t believe it’s already March, the weeks seem to just be flying by!

I am so excited to review this double stroller from BiBA M for you today! I was thrilled when they reached out to me, it was right before we left for Disney World and I knew I wanted to travel with this stroller to get a really good feel for it. And let me just say before we get going, this is a REALLY good stroller!

I’ll start with the things that I love, and I’ve broken it down into different categories to give you a thoroughly detailed review of my thoughts!

WHAT I LOVE:

Design
This is one of the lightest and smallest double strollers I’ve ever seen. It’s more substantial than an umbrella stroller so you don’t sacrifice on space while still having the lightweight and functional capabilities. At only 25 lbs, most airlines will let you gate check it which allows you to bring it through security and through the airport on any layovers (both of which are musts when traveling with two kids!).  It’s very easy to lift with one hand, and it fits in the trunks of most cars, minivans, and SUVs!

Seats
The seats have two positions, upright and fully reclined. The fully reclined option made it easy for my kids (who normally only nap in their cribs) to fall asleep and stay asleep for hours in the airport and even at Disney! The upright position was comfortable for both my toddler and my 6 month old and allowed them both to see out. There is a level on each seat that allows them to recline individually, so one can nap while the other sits up. Each seat also has an adjustable footrest to accommodate different ages of children.

Storage
The undercarriage of this stroller is pretty decent! It’s about the same as my other double stroller but it’s much more accessible because of the side by side design. We stored water bottles, shopping bags, and jackets under here and I feel like it would fit a small diaper bag or purse just fine.

Canopies
These canopies are amazing! They can extend very far down to provide shade and protection from the sun, and there’s a zipper that opens a mesh section to allow ventilation! By far one of my favorite aspects of this stroller is how well the canopies were designed.

Maneuverability
This stroller is very easy to drive. It fits through all doorways and can be steered with one hand fairly readily. It’s a very light push even when fully loaded and with two kids! The front wheels can both unlock which allows for easy turning and maneuvering in tight spaces! They really did an excellent job on creating a side by side stroller that can turn on a dime.

PRICE
At just $299 this is by FAR one of the most affordable double strollers on the market. Most doubles run from $600-$1,000 so getting a brand new double for under $300 is AMAZING.

There’s really just one thing that I didn’t love about this stroller, and while it’s not a deal breaker I do hope that BiBA considers making some changes to how the stroller is broken down.

WHAT I DON’T LOVE

Breakdown/Folding
This is advertised as a one hand fold but I definitely disagree. Each seat has to be individually hyperextended to farther than upright position, then a handle has to be pulled to collapse the stroller in half. Normally, this isn’t a big deal, but when I’m trying to fold the stroller while holding a baby in my arms, holding a toddler’s hand, keeping an eye on luggage and trying to get on a plane it becomes a big inconvenience. The seat levers can be a little sticky while trying to hyperextend, but I think I’ll get the hang of that over time. Again, not a huge deal, but something that I hope gets easier over time!

BONUS ACCESSORIES
Each stroller comes with a cup holder for mom and a support bar that goes across both seats. I didn’t use either of these because I didn’t want them damaged while traveling, but I love the support bar because you can place an infant car seat on it and use this stroller with a newborn! Such a good idea! And you’d be surprised at how many double strollers don’t have a cup holder (I’m looking at you Britax) so this is a big bonus for me as well.

SUMMARY
I am in love with this stroller! The lightweight design and small fold make it perfect for traveling, but it makes an excellent everyday stroller as well. You can tell that a lot of thought went into making this stroller easy and convenient for moms of multiple kids, and the attention to detail on the canopies and storage space is incredible. The price makes this the best lightweight and functional stroller out there right now, and I highly recommend it to moms who are looking for a double! If you have any questions about our experience, feel free to reach out!

Everything I flew with! I was alone so having a double stroller that could carry a lot and push easily was crucial!

Poor Reagan was so tired before we even got to the park the first day. I reclined the seat and she rolled over and went right to sleep!

Meeting Daisy Duck! Reagan stayed asleep in the stroller the whole time and Elliott woke up just for a second before falling back asleep!

You can see how far the canopies extend! Huge plus for really sunny days.

I loved that they could both fall asleep in here so easily! My kids only ever nap in their cribs so this is extra impressive.
