I am in 100% complete denial that my baby is TWO! I still feel like I had her yesterday, and it’s terrifying to think that when Reagan was turning two I had a 3 week old Elliott in my arms. Elliott has strong opinions about everything, and she was clear about wanting a Minnie Mouse birthday party! Totally fine by me, since we are all Disney fanatics and look for any chance to bring a little Minnie Mouse magic into our lives!

I planned to take lots of pretty pictures of our party setup, but we were having so much fun that I forgot and just enjoyed the party! I tried to rearrange everything so you could get a feel for what it looked like pre-party, but just know it was a total blast and everything was perfect!

Food

We kept it pretty simple as far as food goes, but I tried to tie everything back to Minnie Mouse so we got creative and had fun with it!

Pigs in a blanket – Hot Diggity Dogs
Potato Chips – Plu-Ta-To Chips
Punch (7-Up + Fruit juice!) – Daisy’s Drinks
Popcorn – Minnie’s Popcorn

We also had a veggie tray, honest kids juice boxes, and utensils labeled Mouse-ka-tools! You can’t have a Minnie Mouse birthday party without an ample supply of Mouse-ka-tools!

Desserts

I baked a cake from a box for Elliott to blow out candles and dig into on her own, and for our guests we made it easy and catered cookies from Pop Drinks! Pop is one of our favorite places to go as a family, and since we are big time fans of their cookies I wanted to incorporate them into Elliott’s party. The cookies were a big hit with the kids and adults alike, and I think we found a new birthday party tradition!

We served the popcorn in these super cute pink and white popcorn boxes, you can find them on Amazon HERE!

DIY Minnie Mouse Ears

Games

As the guests arrived to the party, they each got a pair of Minnie Mouse ears to decorate with glitter glue pens and stickers. The kids loved it! It was an easy craft and a good way to fill time while we waited for everyone to arrive! Ears can be found HERE, glitter pens are HERE, and stickers are HERE.

Since the party was for a two year old, we kept the games simple! I DIY’d a Pin the Bow on the Minnie Mouse game with some poster board, and the kids had so much fun with it!

The balloon banner was a really easy DIY as well! You can find similar balloons HERE, and I used THIS balloon pump to fill them all quickly. I took a needle and some thin string and randomly strung them together. Then used command hooks to hang them on the wall! It makes a fun photo backdrop and all the kids loved it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLIOTT! You are one spunky little girl and we love you so dang much! I cannot wait to see what this next year holds in store for you!
